Shop Til You Drop .....

The Eastern Ontario region is rich with talented artisans creating some of the most beautiful and unique items you will ever find.  You can visit some artists and craftspeople in their own studios as they create their masterpieces in front of your very eyes.  You will discover paintings, jewellery, pottery, apparel, stained glass, home decor of every type, furniture and antiques.  You can even have the piece of your dreams created just for you.

Where you can shop is almost as varied as the products themselves.  Choose from a two story indoor mall, an outdoor mall in a smaller village, downtown districts, and even country shops.  You will find everything from the department store to large antique dealers to outlets to small shops stuffed with handmade articles.

In the Seaway Valley, shopping for farm fresh products is a given.  The famous McIntosh apple was actually propogated by John McIntosh in 1796 in South Dundas.  Today, the Mac is enjoyed worldwide, but never more than here in the Seaway Valley.  Maple Syrup products are produced right here as several producers tap their trees and create pure maple syrup, maple butter, maple candy and maple fudge.  Roadside stands and farms serve up fresh vegetables like corn, cucumbers, tomatoes, beans, asparagus and fruits like apples, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.  Fresh picked in the morning and available for purchase before noon - now that's fresh!

No matter where you shop, you'll find the friendly hospitality that the Cornwall & Seaway Valley area is known for!
